Wisconsin Issues Fentanyl Public Health Advisory

Myself and four other moms - Iris Garcia, Brooke McKearn, Sharon Marshall and Erin Rachwal held several meetings and email exchanges with Governor Evers' office and WI DHS (Department of Health Services) imploring them to issue a Public Health Alert warning about Fentanyl over the course of several months. On August 17th, 2022 in a Zoom meeting, they informed us that our cries for help had been heard and that a Public Health Advisory was being released that day! I cried, finally feeling validated after months of feeling like I was screaming into a black hole. Praying that many lives will be saved from the impact of this advisory!
