Memories of Cade

I was looking through all of my memories with Cade and I wanted to share this one because every time I look at videos from this day they make me laugh. I have an app called Rover and people contact me to watch their pets. I had to dogsit this day and I brought Cade and our friend John with. As soon as we got to the apartment Cade started cooking up tofu and he was giving me a tutorial on how to do it. I was laughing the whole time because whenever I was was with him he would be doing some random, silly thing and I always thought he was hilarious. You can also hear Cade yell in the background because he burnt himself😂. John was getting kind of fed up with us because like it says in the video John thought when me and Cade were together…

In our junior year of highschool I had bought these mini bubble key chains from Walmart. They had the bubble solution inside and the stick also. I was in class with Cade and showed him what I bought. He grabbed one and started blowing bubbles (during class, but it's a great memory.) I included a video from that day.

I also remember in our sophomore year he walked up to me in the commons, grabbed my car keys and pretended to leave with them. Eventually he brought them back.

We had known eachother since kindergarten, but weren't super close in highschool. Just always knew eachother.

One of my earliest memories of Cade is playing in Shelly's basement with him and Leah on a tiny plastic slide when they were both about two years old. They both had these gigantic smiles and infectious giggles each time they slid down and I caught them and threw them up in the air. The two of them were always two peas in a pod cracking each other up. I remember my arms were sore the next day because they wanted me to do it so many times!

Of course, the weekend we spent in D.C. with Cade a few weeks before he passed is a memory I will treasure. I remember watching him play with Sienna and Lou and seeing them just captivated by him. Not a day passes without thinking about you Cade. We miss you dearly but know your light permeates our daily lives. While we live out our remaining time we will constantly miss your laughs and hugs during our family gatherings. I will never forget the time at the beach with all the cousins chasing crabs, and the flock of seagulls chasing you with a bag chips. You always filled life joy and laughter.

we are so grateful to have spent time with you out here in MD the month before you passed. One our last living memories with you are hiking with in Harpers Ferry and you doing back flips to impress the cousins. Also the five guys burger sitting behind 7-11 before i dropped you all off at the airport :)

I remember when Cade came to Silver Spring around October last year and we went on a hike. I remember coming up with funny conspiracy theories as we climbed. We got ice cream after and it was a really fun day. We love you Cade <3

I miss you more every single day Caders. I especially miss getting to see you everytime I would perform. You got more excited than anyone to watch dance team and wear my jersey. One of my favorite memories in high school is running off after performing to get greeted with your smiling face and a huge hug. I miss those hugs and smile so much. I love you forever🤍

I will never forget all of our car rides home from school. It was always in the lunch room where I would find him just running around talking to everyone and making people laugh after the last bell. Then he would come up to me and give me the biggest hug right before he asked for a ride ahaha. I know he meant it with all the love and I was more than happy to give them because those times with Cade were priceless. One of the times he sat in my car for almost an hour just talking and jamming to music in his driveway. I almost had to pry him out because I had a practice to get to but wish I just would’ve stayed now. Current I have a picture in my car to look at Cade whenever I need to remember all of the good time…

Hanging out with Cade was something I always looked forward to, especially during holidays. We would catch up on everything going on in our lives and go for drives so we could have our deep talks. I could tell him anything without any judgement ever, and I will always be so thankful for that. I’ll never forget how we always laughed until we cried every time we saw each other and I will always miss how special he made the holidays feel. Much love cader ❤️
