One of my earliest memories of Cade is playing in Shelly's basement with him and Leah on a tiny plastic slide when they were both about two years old. They both had these gigantic smiles and infectious giggles each time they slid down and I caught them and threw them up in the air. The two of them were always two peas in a pod cracking each other up. I remember my arms were sore the next day because they wanted me to do it so many times!
Of course, the weekend we spent in D.C. with Cade a few weeks before he passed is a memory I will treasure. I remember watching him play with Sienna and Lou and seeing them just captivated by him. Everything he did they found funny, cool, and amazing. I loved walking through the streets of Frederick at night talking to him about his first few weeks of college. He was so thoughtful and easy to talk to.
Cade's light absolutly shines on, and we think about him all the time.
Much love, Aunt Jen
